WOMEN should prepare to be “gaming widows” this weekend as men across the country settle down with copies of the Xbox 360 game Halo 3.

Billed as the biggest selling computer game ever, the release of final installment of the trilogy is being described as the gaming equivalent to the conclusion of the Lord of the Rings.

Welsh fans queued for hours outside one store for its special midnight opening yesterday.
