YES! Well done EA, glad to see after the recent new IP games not performing as well as you'd hoped you've not given up on them completely.
Cannot wait to play this game which at the very least will be very amusing!
It also came out in Japan on the Dreamcast- after the system's death, actually. I'm sure they've already done SOMETHING to update the graphics for that release, so this would be all the easier. I wish that it were being considered for PSN, though. Ikaruga was an incredible game, and is THE ultimate side scrolling shooter, period. Nothing can even touch it. I'd like to see its roots...
I actually turned a huge SDTV on its side once to play Ikaruga on the Gamecube.
probably want to release the better games after christmas a while when people become bored with their new xmas present games
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm blown away that the original Gears is still in the top 5. That game has serious legs.
People were actually buying NES games though, they aren't buying Xbox titles. If there were money to be made Gamestop would not be bowing out of the market (which is actually a poor term since there's no market to bow out of). You can't blame a retailer for cutting ventures which are no longer profitable.
I know a total of 27 people with xbox 360s (I've counted em) and six so far have been sent back for repair. I only know 6 people with PS3's and one of them has had a warranty repair (me). That's probably in line with what the actual warranty statistics are yet I hear constantly people saying that they've gone through five, ten, fifteen xbox consoles. Well I'm not going to call anybody a liar but if the probability of a console failure is a truly random event and even if the xbox failure rate is as high as 30%, the probability of failing five in a row in a short time is a small fraction of 1%. So if you go on to fail your sixth xbox it's time to go out and buy a lottery ticket... or maybe stop playing with it when your momma forces you to take a bath.
If anyone is desperate enough to play this piece of shit they can just create a european PSN account and buy it.
Yep GoW2 was broken. I've got a few buddies who were/are die hard GoW multiplayer junkies who couldn't wait to get their hands on GoW2. After about a month or so of exploits they all, to a man through up their hands and quit. With the slew of great games available I doubt they'll be back.
I'm not nearly as tech educated as many of the guys/gals in this forum however, one thing I am well educated in, is in my wallet.
Coming up with all these new tech's is awesome but it needs to be affordable, especially in light of the current state of the economy.
I realize that hardcore gamers will spend whatever it takes, however if these companies want to "strike gold" they need to appeal to casual gamers as well just because the numbers are far larger.
Sounds like a 6 out of 10 before its out. i'll check this out on you-tube before buying cos look what happened with Haze.
LittleBigPlanet has left me thinking that level creation must be that easy in every game, i really fancy my chances with this little beauty!
You get into an accident with this thing and you'd have a nice fresh immprint of a 360 controller on your face. Either that or the controller would be lodged in your face.
