As a game developer, BioWare has done much to bring new gamers into the long-established fold of the role-playing genre. In part, it’s done that by mastering combat systems in RPGs, allowing for real-time action that gives players as much control as if they were sitting over a table holding multisided dice and detailed character sheets taking turns on their attacks.
