The non-exclusivity of the NBA license for video games is a reminder of why exclusive deals for other sports like EA’s NFL lockdown are a bad idea. Competition is a good thing, and it’s driven publisher 2K Sports to strive to make their product better than EA’s, which it has been in years of late.
