Sales for Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3 fell for the fourth consecutive week in Japan. The PS3 ranked No. 4 in overall hardware sales for the week.
Sales for the 80GB PS3 spiked upon restock at Amazon.com this week. The high-end model held a top 10 ranking in the Video Games division on Fri.
Sony this week said that it will release a new 80GB PS3 bundle that includes Konami Corp.'s Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The SKU will sell for $499.
Additionally, it said that the DualShock 3 controller will be sold in the U.S. this Apr. The controller includes rumble functionality not found in the Sixaxis controller.
