Topic: should microsoft give the public its original xbox live software?

do you think microsoft should allow the public to have the software to their old original xbox live service since the service shut down the april 15th of this year? leave any thoughts.

they said that it wasnt compatible with the new xbox live. it pissed me off the most beause i was playing the original xbox for a year and a half since i got it about a year and a half ago, alot of people still played halo 2 and such,and it was alot more cooler then the xbox 360. i stood with the original xbox till the end. i might as well buy a thick Playstation 2 since i always wanted one of the thick ones since my cousin got one back in 2000

ahhh Halo 2 was great! I had that for my original xbox as well, but believe it or not, never used xbox live with it!

How was that actually? I have just played xboxlive on my 360. Were there lots of people playing? Or just fewer an fewer?

I can not see why Microsoft just couldn't keep the service up and running, that could just keep it as it was. That should not cost them too much and they would get a lot of happy customers!
