Public service announcement for the kids out there with custom casemods or artwork on their Xbox 360s: If your console RRODs you might really really want to think twice before sending it in to Microsoft customer support.
Via Kotaku comes the sad story of Nathaniel, a guy who owned and apparently loved his trusty Xbox 360. Specifically, Nathaniel loved his console's altered exterior, featuring among other things a ton of handwritten notes and custom artwork done in black sharpie by folks from Rooster Teeth, Bungie and the Xbox 360 team. Just look at the shot below and I'm sure you'll agree it's a very fine thing indeed.
